Janina Hora (Янина Гора/Яніна Гора) made her bachelor and master degree  at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague with Mario Mesany and attends lectures and projects of Contemporary music department.

Janina Hora has successfully completed courses Forum FlutePiano in Diekirch as well as International Summer Academy of University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, during which she had lessons with Christina Fassbender, Kersten McCall, Carlo Jans, Tillmann Dehnhard, Michael Schmid and Thomas Frey. Yanina interested in new possibilities of playing flute, so she also two times successfully completed course of non-idiomatic improvisation with Peter Graham/Jaroslav Šťastný, music performance and improvisation course with Miroslav Tóth or also Pavel Zlámal.

Since her debut at Youth Minsk competition and Minsk nation festival Blagovest at the age of 12, Janina Hora also became a second Prize Winner of Eugen Coca International competition and Surmi Bukoviny International competition.

Janina Hora has performed at Czech Republic festivals for classical and contemporary music as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician, including festival Echofluxx, Zlomvaz, Prague Clarinet Days as well as making music for contemporary poetry project Ovál or contemporary artist’s vernissages and performances as Markéta Jáchimová or Valentýna Janů. Since year 2017 she maintains regular concert activity as lead flutist of Ensemble Terrible, Konvergence Ensemble, Orchestr Berg.
